Did you ever had that feeling when there’s a part of you that’s missing but you don’t know what it is? You have it in the back of your mind, but you can’t exactly figure out how to fill the void?
Well, I had that feeling for quite some time now. I didn’t even realize since a while ago what it was. I just knew it was something. Something within me that I did not fulfill yet. I just had to ask myself one simple question, “What am I passionate about?”
The answer came clear as a bell.
Let’s get down to business. Before I give you my answer to the question I asked myself, I want you to get to know me a bit better.
I’m a young professional with a bunch of experience in online marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.
I have a proven track record of developing many strategies and making magic happen for my clients.
I’m also a passionate leader who likes to set an example and push his teams for change in pursuit of greatness.
As of now, I’m dedicating most of my work time to my digital marketing agency POINT OUT which I co-founded in 2011.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, developing new businesses, all kinds of gadgets, photography, and playing tennis.
So that’s that. If you want to read more about me, I suggest you look at the about section on my website.
This brings us to my answer. I’ll get to that in just a second.
First, my business experience is for the most part connected with building strategies and deploying tactics in the field of marketing. And I’m not talking just about the marketing communications part, but also about product strategies, branding, placement, positioning, research, analytics and so on. For the past few years, I dove more into the digital marketing world.
In my business, and in my personal life for that matter, I had the opportunity to lead many teams and organizations. So on my way, I also learned a thing or two about leadership, relationships, and management.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with some pretty cool brands, mostly through my digital marketing agency, such as Aquafresh, Bic, BMW, Cedevita, Cisco, GlaxoSmithKline, Maretti, Peugeot, Sensodyne, and STIHL.
Aside from nurturing my own business, my home base is also performing in front of crowds. I’m passionate about teaching, coaching and mentoring. I lecture at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. I also give keynotes at conferences and different business or social events.
A while ago I had one of those after work drinks with my business partner. We chatted about some business and personal related stuff. I don’t know why, but somehow we started talking about our passion and what drives us forward. It got me thinking…
One of the things I’m passionate about is sharing my knowledge and experiences, and just helping others who might find my advice useful. It’s one of the things that makes my heart sing. So I thought to myself, “What’s a great way to do that?”
Blogging was on the top of my list.
I’ll share everything that I’ve learned and will learn throughout my journey. My main goal is to inspire and help you reach your goals, your potential, and your dreams.
Through my writing, I’d like you to see just how simple it can be to succeed in your business and life in general. Follow your passion, stay a life-long student and put in some hard work. It’s taken me some time to reach the point where I feel comfortable to write, blog and share my knowledge, struggles and my story.
On this blog, I’ll document my business journey. I’ll share my expert knowledge on (digital) marketing strategies and tactics, especially social media, content and inbound marketing.
I’ll also include other entrepreneurial and business hacks. Reaching out to other inspiring people and sharing their story is also a huge desire of mine. Since I consider myself a tech savvy person, I’ll also try to include tips on apps and gadgets that make my life easier and boost my productivity.
And of course much more.
I hope this blog will evolve over time as I grow as an entrepreneur and as a person.
Also, it will grow as I learn more from you. I would genuinely like to hear your feedback. Share your thoughts in a comment, on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, or Instagram. You can also send me an email. Whatever suits you best.
Do not hesitate to share your questions, struggles and your opinion on anything.
